What Does P0456 Code Mean<\/h2>\n

The P0456 diagnostic trouble code<\/strong> indicates that the vehicle’s EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control) system<\/strong> has detected a very small leak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The EVAP system is responsible for preventing fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere. Instead of releasing vapors, the system stores them in a charcoal canister<\/strong> and later sends them back to the engine to be burned during combustion.<\/p>\n
