Three dates tell the whole story, and none of them belong to LARTE Design<\/a>.<\/p>\n On 13 April 2022, BMW<\/a> gave the X7 its first and, as it turns out, only facelift<\/a>. On 31 March 2026, Mercedes-Benz updated the GLS for the second time in the same window. Then, on 12 March 2026, BMW<\/a> CEO Oliver Zipse confirmed at the company’s Annual Conference that the next X7 will not be another mid-cycle refresh \u2014 it will be an entirely new generation, built at Plant Spartanburg, revealed in 2027, and delivered from model year 2028.<\/p>\n So while Mercedes<\/a> revised its rival twice, BMW<\/a> touched the X7 exactly once, and only at the front.
