A major Enexus LONGi solar project Romania has been announced, representing one of the country’s largest renewable energy initiatives. Chinese company LONGi will deliver solar modules totaling 300 MW to power several projects led by Enexus Renewables.

According to EnergyTrend, the initiative aims to expand Romania’s renewable footprint, strengthen its energy independence, and accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels.

Experts suggest that once operational, these solar farms will provide electricity for hundreds of thousands of households, while also cutting significant amounts of CO₂ emissions. With strong EU backing for green investments, Romania is positioning itself as a regional hub for clean energy.

For everyday consumers, the Enexus LONGi solar project Romania could eventually mean more stable electricity supply and potentially lower energy bills.
